Art at the Entrance

Sacramento County Fair invites you to show off your talented art students at the 2012 County Fair, May 24 - 28.

We are inviting each high school art department to participate in the 10TH ANNUAL "ART AT THE ENTRANCE" show and hope to have all high schools represented.

An art judge will judge the murals and the following cash prizes will be awarded:

1st Place:  $75.00
2nd Place: $50.00
3rd Place:  $25.00

Each mural will be judged by a local artist and cash prizes will be awarded. Please complete the attached Art At The Entrance Memorandum of Understanding and mail or fax it in with the registration form by January 20, 2012.

All murals must be on 4' x 8' primed plywood board. The murals will be displayed lining the entrance to the fair and remain on display until the fair closes Murals will be judged by "Peoples Choice" for an additional cash award. Encourage all your students, faculty and friends to vote for your mural. This is an excellent opportunity for your students to show pride in their school.
