SACRAMENTO (June 2, 2010)- The Sacramento County Fair wrapped up its 74th year on
Memorial Day, May 31. Throughout its five day run, fairgoers were encouraged to

Plants Awareness in Children
SACRAMENTO (May 13, 2010)- The Sacramento County Fair gives children an opportunity
to get a hands-on experience designed to plant the seeds of knowledge about California's
agriculture industry. With hundreds of 4-H and FFA livestock exhibits, a petting zoo and the
14,000 square foot "Sunflower Saddle Ranch" dedicated to activities based on ranch life, kids
also get to dig into their agricultural appetites with gardens in wheelbarrows.

SACRAMENTO, CA -After months of hard work, the big moment is quickly approaching
for more than 600 local youth involved in several agricultural-related organizations. The
participating members of the 4-H and FFA, along with independent youth livestock
exhibitors, will proudly show the animals they've been raising and caring for during the
