Now is the time for you
to plan your County Fair Field Trip for 2008.
Sacramento County Fair
continues to be held on Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-26, 2008. School
Tours will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 22 and 23. The Fair
offers an opportunity, at no charge, for you and your students to have
fun and learn more about agriculture and the vital role it plays in our
everyday lives. Fair also provides opportunities for you and your
students to participate as exhibitors. Your students will enjoy the
exhibits provided by other youth and perhaps exhibit some of their own
work. Kids Park will offer a source of agricultural and environmental
education as well.
Watch for our special
Agricultural Education Workshops "Gardens in a Wheelbarrow". This
program will also provide an opportunity for your classroom to compete
for cash prizes.
