offer satisfaction and fun before and during Sacramento County Fair
May 22-26, 2008.
Your County Fair is
looking for a few good men, women and teens who like to work hard,
help their community and have a good time. An interesting variety of
volunteer positions are available during this year's Fair, from
livestock crew to information ambassador.
Volunteers work a 4 to 8 hour shift during the Fair. Some positions
begin as early as May 12th. Most positions include a two hour
training session. Minimum age is 16.

Sacramento County Fair Volunteer Application & Schedule
Free
Admission!
Sacramento County Fair boasts free admission and offers a complete
variety of events consistent with any County Fair. Gates are open
from 12:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday and Friday, May 22nd
and May 23rd, 10:00am to 10:00pm on Saturday and Sunday,
May 24th and May 25th, and 10:00am to 7:30pm
on Monday May 26th.
Positions Available
Information Ambassador/Building Monitors
Assist the public with directions, maps and hand out programs.
Needed Thursday, May 22nd through Monday, May 26th.
Competitive Exhibits Crew
Help during receiving, judging and release of the items entered
for judging. Also, help arrange displays so the items are
attractively displayed.
Livestock Crew
Assist with weighing and judging of the livestock entered for
judging. Help with check-in of animals in the arenas during judging.
Needed Wednesday, May 21st through Monday, May 26th.
Metro Farm
Monitors or Docents
Monitor activities and assist with activities.
Kids Park
Assist with free hands-on activities in Kids Park.
